Freel Wheel Clutch
The NSO600/I Freewheel Clutch is a heavy-duty mechanical overrunning clutch designed to transmit torque in one rotational direction while allowing free rotation in the opposite direction. Utilizing precision-hardened sprag elements positioned between the inner and outer races, the clutch automatically engages when torque is applied in the driving direction and disengages when the driven member exceeds the driving speed.
This clutch is commonly used in industrial power transmission systems requiring overrunning, backstopping, or indexing functions. The hardened and precision-ground internal components provide high torque transmission capability, excellent wear resistance, reliable engagement, and long service life under demanding operating conditions.
NSO600/I Freewheel Clutch, Sprag Type Overrunning Clutch, Single-Direction Torque Transmission, Hardened & Precision Ground Steel Construction, Suitable for Overrunning, Backstopping, and Indexing Applications.
